The civic and political engagement initiative is aimed at empowering the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to advocate for equality and inclusion. This initiative focuses on statewide, local, and federal issues, offering opportunities for education, advocacy, and direct action.

Locally, we aim to strengthen partnerships, support community-focused programs, and promote visibility through events and initiatives. At the federal level, we provide resources to navigate essential processes and protect individual rights.

Our youth engagement initiative is designed to empower LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies through fun, meaningful, and affirming activities, all seamlessly integrated into our organization’s broader initiatives.

This program includes regularly scheduled hangouts where participants can connect, the OutFront Metuchen Scholarship, which supports local LGBTQIA+ youth in their academic and personal growth, and our All-Gender Closet, an inclusive event where LGBTQIA+ youth and allies can find free clothing, shoes, and accessories that empower them to express their authentic selves. By fostering connection, creativity, and leadership, we’re building a supportive and inclusive future for the next generation.
